CHAD
Disease, conflict, malnutrition, and economic crisis compound in Chad to create one of the most overlooked humanitarian disasters.
Overview
In 2022, one in three people or 6.1 million people, needed humanitarian assistance in Chad.
In the wake of these increasing needs, Action For Humanity implemented our first project in Chad. The project provided safe and clean water access to 1,200 households through the establishment of three solar water wells in deprived villages of Hadjer-lamis, Chad.
Building on the lessons learned in Syria, Yemen, Gaza, and beyond, we have supported nearly 10,000 people in Chad since 2022; only the start in tackling the spiralling needs in this promising country.
